How will this affect me in Texas?

It’s simple – just because Patricia isn’t hitting Lone Star State directly, she’s still going to bring LOTS wind and rain from today into next week. Combine this huge storm with additional weather patterns from the Western United States and Gulf of Mexico, life will be very wet for many of us.

Specifically, flash flood watches and warnings have already been announced for much of West, North, and Central Texas are already under. Furthermore, Houston could experience 8 to 12 inches of rain over the next 4+ days, while 3 to 8 inches of rainfall could pay a visit to other parts of the state.
