Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best decision ever I purchased this out of frustration with how direct energy ran their plans. The person I spoke with was super sweet and it made me more confident in my decision to switch. Since I've switched I have saved so much money and time dealing with monthly payments.

Using 1000-1250 watts, How much would I be paying? Do I have to sum the delivery charge or is it included? What would be the total cost?

Asked by: vane
We would be happy to assist you with this. On the page for the rate plan there should be an EFL link that you can click. This will show you the average cost per kWh based on 500, 1,000, and 2,000 kWh monthly usage. This average includes the supply charges from us and the delivery charges from the utility. If you would like additional information like an estimate for what your monthly bill would be please email us at dedigitalcare@directenergy.com with the rate plan information that you would like the bill estimate for. Thank you and have a good day! Payton

If I'm on a switch hold with my current provider can I still use a pay as you go without being disconnected

Asked by: Villalexy
That's a great question! A Switch Hold can be placed on a premise by either a Retail Energy Provider (REP) (with customer's consent) for an outstanding bill or by the Transmission and Distribution Service Provider (TDSP, or utility company) due to meter tampering. The purpose of a Switch Hold is to ensure that the occupant responsible for paying the bills at that location takes care of any/all outstanding charges before switching to a new REP. If you are experiencing a Switch Hold issue during your enrollment process, then it is possible the previous occupant left without fulfilling outstanding debt. To remove the Switch Hold, you will need to show proof of new occupancy so that the TDSP or the previous REP will agree to remove the Switch Hold in order for us to continue with your enrollment process. If you have further questions please let us know by sending them to dedigitalcare@directenergy.com. Have a great day! Payton
