Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Very Impressive Plan I purchased this plan from 1st choice power in the middle of October of this year, and so far I'm not impressed with this rate plan. Main reason cause of the referral bonus for my daughter and for my husband and I. 50 dollar bonus, but haven't received anything. I live in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom very small apartment little over 600 square ft and do not run a lot of electricity being it's just me and my husband, and so far our bill looks like it's gonna be over a 100 and some odd dollars a month. My last electric company their rates were alittle better and we paid under a $100 a month for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment 900 sq ft and we ran the electricity quite a bit with 2 sons living with us at that time. My husband and I thought great!! both sons moved out, we moved in to a small 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment And we don't run electricity hardly at all since we work. So we figured great!! Our electric bill will be so much smaller than before, but now it's actually higher for a smaller sq footage and low wattage usage!!! We are so disappointed. Not impressed at all. This is my honest opinion, take it for what it's worth. I wished I had gone with 4Change Energy or Cirro, regret it now.

Once you find a rate that you prefer, you should be able to click the yellow sign up button to proceed. An enrollment form will generate, and you can get signed up.

Do you have prepaid electricity plans?

Today’s prepaid rates are based on the current cost of energy, which can change daily. The cost of energy is currently elevated over the next few months due to recent power plant closures that has the market concerned that there may be a shortage of power supply during peak usage periods this summer. Because the rates that we would be charging for your prepaid electric service may be significantly increased in order to cover the higher cost of energy this summer, we have decided that it is in the best interest of the customer to suspend offering new/additional prepaid electric offers at this time. $0.159 KWH Why did my rate skyrocket from $0.09 KWH to $0.159? Is this a trick to force me into a 12 month plan? Or is this a seasonal rate and it will return to $0.09kwh eventually?

do I have to pay for deposit and when will I get my light turn on thanks .

Good Afternoon! The deposit requirement is determined by the credit check completed at the time of submitting an enrollment. Depending upon those results there may be a deposit to begin services. The deposit amount can vary from $0-$150. If one is assessed you will receive notification advising of the amount to be paid before service can begin.
