Why is my power disconnected?
There are two basic reasons your power is disconnected:
- You haven't paid your past-due balance to First Choice Power. If you still didn't pay your balance 10 days after your bill due date, we sent a Disconnection Order for your service address
- There is a temporary power outage in your area because of problems with the electricity grid
If you're disconnected because you haven't paid your bill, we mailed you Disconnection Notice to your billing address the day after your bill due date. That notice describes the balance you need to pay and tells you about a scheduled date for Disconnection. You need to pay this past-due balance in full before we can send the Reconnect order. if you need a Payment Arrangement for this balance, please First Choice Power Customer Service at 1-855-534-3881.
If you're disconnected because of a temporary power outage in your area, please call the utility company for your area. They will be able to give you a reason for the outage as well as the estimated time you'll get power back.
Not sure who your utility company is or how to contact them? Check below or look on your most recent First Choice Power bill.
