5 Simply Better Water Tips

Saving water can help you save energy and money!

1. Check your water meter and bill to track your usage.

2. Run your washing machine and dishwasher only when they are full. This could save you about 1,000 gallons a month.

3. Time your shower to keep it less than five minutes. You’ll save as many as 1,000 gallons a month.

4. Use a broom instead of a hose to clean your driveway or sidewalk. This could save about 80 gallons of water every time.

5. Turn off the water while you brush your teeth and save about 4 gallons of water per minute.
