First Choice Power announces Simply Better Renewable – a 100-percent renewable energy plan, available at one of the lowest renewable prices available in Texas.

"Until now, Texans had to pay a significant premium if they wanted to purchase environmentally friendly, renewable energy," said Jeff Weiser, co-president of First Choice Power. "Choosing renewable energy is a personal choice, a statement, and we want it to be an easy and affordable one for our customers to make."

Simply Better Renewable is available to new and existing First Choice Power customers.* It is a 12-month price plan with 100-percent renewable energy. Prices vary across the state depending upon the transmission and distribution service provider area, but Simply Better Renewable is one of the lowest fixed-price renewable products available in each area.

First Choice Power will purchase this renewable energy on behalf of customers who sign up for the product. By purchasing renewable energy, First Choice Power and its customers decrease the emissions produced by natural gas and fossil fuels.

In addition, Simply Better Renewable customers will receive 500 Simply Better Rewards^TM bonus points for signing up. The Simply Better Rewards program gives customers an opportunity to redeem accumulated points for popular merchandise, including name-brand items such as Panasonic DVD players.

Simply Better Rewards Announces Sweepstakes Winners

In May and June we offered customers who enrolled in Simply Better Rewards^TM the opportunity to win 10 times their quarterly points. Thousands of First Choice Power customers took advantage of this sweepstakes and enrolled before the deadline.  All Simply Better Rewards members who were enrolled by the end of June also should have received their quarterly points statement and Summer 2006 product catalog. Add Predictability to Your Bills

Even out the highs and lows in your monthly bill by enrolling in our Budget Billing program.  This allows you to budget a specific amount every month.  To make things even more convenient, you can set up our FREE Automatic Bank Draft program at the same time, which will draft your bank account for the payment each month, saving you the time and hassle of writing a check, finding a stamp and mailing the bill every month.

To be eligible, you must have been a First Choice Power customer in good standing for at least 12 months. Your payments must be current, resulting in a balance of zero on your account. Customers have the opportunity to enroll between Sept. 1 and March 31 each year.

 Rules

• While you are enrolled in our Budget Billing program, you will not be eligible to request or receive other types of special payment arrangements from First Choice Power, such as payment extensions or deferred payment plans.

• Your Budget Billing amount will be adjusted automatically every year to reflect your actual usage.

• Your actual usage will be reviewed periodically for any needed payment adjustments.

• If you have more than one late payment within a 12-month period, you will be removed automatically from the Budget Billing program and placed back on regular billing.

• If a check or other form of payment is returned unpaid on your account within a 12-month period you will be removed automatically from the Budget Billing program and placed back on regular billing.
