One Month Left To Apply: First Choice Power Reduce Your Use Grants Due Sept. 1

 

Grants will help Texas nonprofits be energy-efficient

(IRVING, Texas) — First Choice Power reminds Texas nonprofits that they have one month left to apply for a First Choice Power Reduce Your Use Grant. The $1,000 Reduce Your Use Grants provide funding for energy-efficiency products and services to reduce nonprofits’ energy usage and costs now and in the future. The deadline is Sept. 1.

“Don’t forget to tell your favorite nonprofit to apply: Reduce Your Use Grants help community partners decrease their energy use, be more energy efficient and have resources for their mission," said Jeff Weiser, president of First Choice Power. "There also is a long-term benefit for our nonprofit partners as Reduce Your Use Grants are for energy savings now and in the future.”

Reduce Your Use Grant Applications for Nonprofits

Texas 501(c) 3 nonprofits that provide direct services to the communities served by First Choice Power are encouraged to visit http://www.FirstChoicePower.com/reduce/ to learn more about who can apply; to understand what guides the funding; to see what’s funded; and to apply online for First Choice Power Reduce Your Use Grants. Applications must be submitted online by 5 p.m. on Sept. 1. Only one application per nonprofit is accepted each year.
