The First Choice Power GED Scholarship will give qualified customers and community members wishing to get their GED an opportunity to do so. First Choice Power GED scholarships are available at Galveston College.
“At First Choice Power, we know that a GED can open doors for higher education, jobs and promotions,” said Michael Swart, vice president of marketing, “We want to help open those doors.”
The GED scholarship is one of the many First Choice Power community programs that focuses on education and economic vitality in the communities it serves.
“The goal of the First Choice Power GED Scholarship program is to help our customers and community members achieve their educational and career goals in efforts to enhance their quality of life,” Swart said.
First Choice Power partnered with the Texas Education Agency to offer the GED scholarships at testing centers across the state.
