Hamilton County Historical MuseumThe Hamilton County Historical Museum will use its grant to purchase energy-efficient lights and insulation for its new building annex."It is a cement block building and needs to be completely redone; it will need fluorescent lights, CFL light bulbs, sheetrock, insulation, energy-efficient heating and cooling units with programmable thermostats and a tankless water heater," said Frances Gardner in the grant application. "(The) Reduce Your Use Grant is very much needed and (is) greatly appreciated by the Hamilton County Historical Museum."  Members of the Historic Hamilton County Museum board accept a First Choice Power Reduce Your Use Grant for energy-efficient materials for a new building.  A photo of the new building that needs to be weatherized for energy efficiency. Reduce Your Use Grant monies will be used for new lighting and insulation. |
