Rains County Good SamaritansRains County Good Samaritans is building an energy-efficient building for its thrift shop. The First Choice Power Reduce Your Use Grant will help with the purchase of a new heating and air conditioning system.“The work of Good Samaritans has become more crucial of late, because the people of Rains County are experiencing the increasing costs of fuel, food and utilities,” said Janie Marney of Good Samaritans. “Since we are the only local organization to help with these items we must stretch our dollars.
