Bosque County Museum in Clifton
The Bosque County Museum is building a storage facility to house its growing collection of artifacts. Museum standards ensure these artifacts are kept at 72 degrees for Bosque County visitors to see for years to come. George Larson, executive director of the museum, said he is applying for a First Choice Power Reduce Your UseTM Grant to help upgrade the air conditioner planned for the storage space to be a more efficient model. That will ensure energy savings for the life of the unit. “This will have long-term payoff because that AC has to run all the time,” Larson said.
