Reduce Your Use™ Grants provide funding for Texas schools and nonprofits to purchase energy-efficiency products and services. In turn, this allows our community partners to reduce their energy costs and spend saved funds on programs directly impacting those most in need. In short, everybody wins.
How? Reduce Your Use Grants help our partners pass the savings on by relying on energy-efficiency products. And less energy use means less cost, which translates to more money to serve the community. Priority will be given to First Choice Power customers, agencies with a low-income focus and agencies where our employees and retirees volunteer.
Texas nonprofits, 501(c)(3), chambers of commerce, 501(c)(6), and schools in areas serviced by First Choice Power are eligible to apply in 2011:
