Log in to My Account to pay electric bills online now with a debit card or credit card. Unfortunately, we no longer accept electronic checks (also sometimes called automatic bank drafts or ACH payments) for deposit payments.
Many banks and money management software programs (such as Quicken and Microsoft Money) can be set up to automatically make your monthly payment. Be aware, some places do charge a fee for this service.

Call us toll-free at (866) 469-2464 to pay your bill using your debit card or credit card. Whether you use our automated menu option or talk to a real live person, there’s never a charge for paying over the phone. You’ll also get a confirmation number so you can be completely sure your payment was received. While you’ve got us on the horn, you might want to set up automatic payments. It’ll be one less thing to worry about next month.

Pay with a Check
|
Personal or company checks may be mailed to:
First Choice Power
PO Box 659603
San Antonio, Texas 78265-9603
The people who open the envelopes said we should remind you to send your check with the payment stub in the envelope that comes with your bill. They also asked if you could please write your account number on your check. Oh, and please don’t fold, staple or paper clip your payment stub or check because it jams the machinery. They say thanks so much.

Pay In Person
|
When you stop by one of our local offices to pay your bill, you can count on us to answer any questions and even offer you a free cup of coffee.
You can also make payments in person at grocery stores, convenience stores and check-cashing offices with an authorized Fidelity Express or MoneyGram or Western Union location.* You’ll need to have your payment stub as well as cash, a check or a money order. Be sure to use Receive Code 7587 at all MoneyGram locations.
With so many payment locations, there’s sure to be one near you. To find the nearest authorized partner, use our location finder, or contact one of our partners:

And now a note from our legal department: Payments made prior to 7 p.m. will be posted within 2 hours. Payments made after 7:01 p.m. will be posted the following business day by 6 a.m. For processing this payment, Western Union charges a $1 fee, Fidelity XPressPay charges a $1.50 fee and MoneyGram charges a $2.95 fee. Additional third-party fees may apply. Also, they asked us to tell you that Carnival, Minyard and Sack n Save won’t accept payments for bills that are part of a disconnect notice.

Automatic Bank Draft Payments
|
Here’s another great (and free) way to take paying your bill off your to do list. Sign up for Bank Draft Payments, and each month, your bill will be automatically paid from your bank account. To get started, simply log in to My Account and select the Automatic Bank Draft enrollment option or print out the Automatic Bank Draft Payment Form to submit to your bank in person.
Our lawyers wrote this next part: First Choice Power will draft the current bill charges from your bank account prior to the bill due date each month. To be eligible for Automatic Bank Draft, your First Choice Power account must be in good standing and may not have been disconnected for non-payment or had more than two payments returned un-paid by your financial institution in the prior 12 months. Additionally, to sign up for Bank Draft Payments, your account must not have been disconnected for non-payment during the prior 12 months. You also should check with your bank to make sure it doesn’t charge any fees for automatic billing.
