Eine Kleine Gala

If you live in the Rio Grande Valley and like classical music, you might already know that First Choice Power is a sponsor the 2011-2012 season of the Valley Symphony Orchestra & Chorale, directed by Peter Dabrowski. Catherine Carlton, First Choice Power’s Community Ambassador, told us she’s especially excited about the performance at the International Museum of Arts & Science, another First Choice Power customer. As the premier performing arts organization in the Rio Grande Valley, the Valley Symphony Orchestra presents exceptional concerts and outreach programs to thousands of people throughout the community each year.

We’re looking forward to the symphony’s A Little Night Music Gala, coming up on April 17 at the McAllen Country Club. The event begins at 6 p.m., and will include a wine dinner with live and silent auctions. Valley Symphony Orchestra soloists will perform as well as Maestro Peter Dabrowski. No word if they’ll play Mozart’s famous serenade Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, but we sure hope so.
