Happy Birthday, Texas City!

Texas City won’t actually turn 100 until September 2011, but the town is taking the whole year to celebrate. Each month, the city’s events will focus on a different decade from its history. As part of the community, First Choice Power is excited to participate and sponsor many centennial festivities.

• Feb. 12: Rotary Cent. Mardi Gras Gala
• May 6: Mother/Son Dance   
• June 19: Juneteenth Golf Tournament 
• July 4: Independence Day Celebration
• Sept. 10: Music Fest/Centennial Concert   
• Sept. 17: Centennial Gala
