Thanks for Saving us a Strudel

We put on our lederhosen and practiced our chicken dance. Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Friendswood hosted a community-wide OktoberFest for the Clear Lake, Pearland and Alvin communities. Held on Oct. 16 on the church grounds, the event was a chance to sample sausage and funnel cakes, not to mention German beer. The Tubameisters from San Antonio rolled out the barrels and kept the polka going. Live and silent auctions featured great stuff like an energy-efficient television donated by First Choice Power. Prost!
