Warm Smiles and Hot Cocoa
Nocona might be known for its boots, but there’s a new storefront in town that’s sure to get lots of attention. First Choice Power’s newest office is now open in Nocona, located at 109 Elm Street. Long-time Nocona residents and First Choice Power representatives Chris Keck and Michelle Fenoglio helped us celebrate with a hot cocoa and cookies opening party on Thursday, Dec. 2.
“Our local office model is designed to bring us closer to the community,” said Terry Pruett, director of local offices for First Choice Power. “By setting up shop where our customers work and live, we are a better resource to help them with their electricity needs, as well as be more involved in the community.”
The new office is part of First Choice Power’s commitment to providing in-person customer service. Customers can visit First Choice Power’s local offices to pay their bills, ask questions about energy services, choose the plan that’s best for them and discuss any customer service issues. This is First Choice Power’s fourth local office to open since 2010.
“We want to be a valuable resource to the residents of Nocona,” Keck said. “Whether it’s at the high school football game, over a plate of barbeque or in our new local office, we want to help people find the best energy plans and prices for their lifestyle and business.”
First Choice Power has a history of supporting the Nocona community through its Food First™ hunger initiative and Reduce Your Use Grant ™ program. Last year, Nocona Grace Place received a $2,000 grant from First Choice Power to help the organization make energy-efficient upgrades and save money on utility bills. Keck volunteers there monthly as well.
If you missed the big party, never fear. First Choice Power’s Nocona office is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on how First Choice Power supports local communities, visit www.FirstChoicePower.com/community.
