Golfing Fore a Good Cause

At First Choice Power, some of us are more the golfing type than others. But all of us like helping out in the community. That’s why we were happy to be the Presenting Sponsor of the Lewisville Chamber Golf Tournament held at the Lantana Golf Club.

The Lewisville Chamber of Commerce is a valuable resource for businesses in the community. “We are big fans of the Lewisville Chamber, and we were happy to show our support,” said First Choice Power employee Lake Scalise.

First Choice Power put together the golfer goody bags, which were chock full of good stuff like golf balls, tees and a golf towel. We were also out and about on the course—some of our more golfy employees played on a four-man team, and the less golfy types went joyriding around on carts, greeting players on the course.

“Jerry Stewart, Kim Gordon, Shanta Cooper, Jason Simpson and Terry Pruett were on the golf course handing out bottles of water and First Choice Power towels and golf balls,” Lake told us. “My team, which included Lewisville Mayor Dean Ueckert, LISD Superintendent Dr. Stephen Waddell, Ed Rials, Ron Sidman, Ryan Horn and Keith Ramsey won second place in the second flight of golfers.” At the dinner after the tourney, Lake had fun thanking everyone for participating, and Matt from the Chamber gave First Choice Power an award for being the title sponsor.
