Ho-Ho-Holiday Giving

The holidays can get pretty hectic, and with all the hustle and stress, we like to take time to remember what’s really important. While many of us are blessed with lots of presents under the tree, far too many of our neighbors struggle to even put food on the table.
 
Food banks across Texas have a variety of needs beyond canned food donations. This past December, First Choice Power’s 12 Days of Holiday Cheer program asked our partner food banks to make their holiday wish lists, and then we invited you to help us fulfill their wishes.
 
Folks could visit the Food First tab on our Facebook page for fun and easy ways to support our food bank partners that serve our communities, like our Give a Whirl game. Thanks to your help, we’ve donated $2,500 to the Texas Food Bank Network. How’s that for a good way to start the new year!
