Great Day, Great Lunch

First Choice Power joined the McAllen Chamber of Commerce to host the Good Day McAllen luncheon at the McAllen Country Club. With door prizes and a $2,000 cash grand prize, the event offered local businesses a good chance to network while enjoying a delicious meal. First Choice Power’s own Terry Pruett and Catherine Carlton spoke at the event to tell members about our new local office in Mission and our community engagement programs, including the three McAllen-area Reduce Your Use Grant™ recipients and our Food First™ partnership with the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley.

"The McAllen Chamber of Commerce has been one of our key partners in growing our presence in the Rio Grande Valley,” Catherine said. “We’ve sponsored many of their events, such as the golf tournament, the sales pitch and the legislative lunch, and we have gotten to know many of the members quite well. The lunch was a great chance to reconnect with our supporters – old and new.”
