Making a Difference on Main Street
Most of us think of Clifton’s FallFest as a great time to stroll Main Street, catch up with friends and start some holiday shopping. The one-day event features a crafts and arts marketplace, Norwegian treats, classic cars and a show of more than 100 hand-stitched quilts on display at the National Guard Armory. As evening falls, the DW Blues Band will take to the stage courtesy of Red Caboose Winery.
FallFest is always fun, and now, First Choice Power has teamed up with Brookshire’s, City Hall and Clifton’s Main Street to help us all do a little extra good. This year, canned food collection bins will be in several locations at FallFest, as well as at Brookshire’s and City Hall through Oct. 31. All donations will go to the Clifton Food Bank. The hunger campaign is part of First Choice Power’s Food First™ program, our initiative to provide 1 million meals to Texans in need.
