Big Fair, Big Hearts
Every year, we look forward to the nine days of fun that make up the Brazoria County Fair in Angleton. Billed as the largest county fair in Texas, it includes music, rides, exhibits, livestock shows, rodeos, parades, art, beauty pageants, corn dogs, nachos, apple dumplings, outdoor concerts and more. First Choice Power was excited to serve as a sponsor again this year, as well as to provide recycling boxes around the fairgrounds to collect people’s aluminum cans and bottles.

Food Pantry night was a huge success, benefiting the Brazosport Cares Food Pantry as part of our Food First fight against hunger. This year, over 183 crates of food were collected. With each crate holding approximately 32 cans, we collected more than 5,856 cans, beating last year’s collection by 800 cans!
We want to offer up a big thank you to everyone who came out to the fair and participated in the food drive. With your help, we were able to make a difference for hungry families right here in Brazoria County.
