You’ve briefly met the families and heard about what they would do if they won our energy-efficiency reality show, Energía Goleadora.
Now it’s time to see what energy-efficiency improvements the families have made and see how the competition is really shaping up.
This week the First Choice Power’s Entrenador Energético follows up with the Rodriguez family to get an update on their progress in making energy-efficiency improvements in their home.
The Rodriguez family is excited about the contest but also about the ability to monitor and manage their electricity consumption thanks to First Choice Power’s gift of a digital programmable thermostat.
The Rodriguez already have come a long way in this competition. They have sealed air leaks around pipes, added weather-stripping around doors and fixed a broken window. Closing up those nooks and crannies can save a lot of energy and money. It’s one of many low-cost ways you, too, can save energy.
