First Choice Power employees took our green challenge and have already implemented new ways to expand our recycling efforts.
Employees efforts help clean up some clutter by their desk or at home — and help others in need at the same time.
One of our IT employees is collecting phonebooks; another employee is collecting batteries.
Our volunteer group – the Community Crew – is collecting used running shoes to donate to hospitals and shelters.
Another employee has volunteered to collect employees’ junk mail to help unsubscribe them and then recycling the unwanted mailings.
These efforts are in addition to the paper, aluminum and glass recycling already done in our offices.
