With Tropical Storm Colin headed for the Atlantic, we thought it was a good time to have a refresher on hurricane readiness, especially those tips tied to our business:
- Keep flashlight(s) and extra batteries (easily accessible!)
- Consider purchasing a back-up generator
- Have a 72-hour kit with food, water and other necessities
- Buy a battery-operated radio
- Create an evacuation plan
- Keep plenty of cash on hand
- Have the car full of gas
- Stay away from any downed power polls or lines
