First Choice Power Hosts Second Annual Energy Bee Competition
LEWISVILLE, TEXAS – Finalists in First Choice Power’s Energy Bee competition will be going head-to-head at the company’s local office in Lewisville on Friday, Oct. 7, from 5-7p.m. The winner will walk away with an all-expense-paid trip for four to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Contestants will compete live at First Choice Power’s Lewisville local office this Friday, October 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend as the event will be filled with fun door prizes for the audience like iPod shuffles and more, plus food and games. The contest emcee will be Gaby Natale of Super Latina from Telemundo in Dallas.
“This contest shows that learning about energy and taking steps to be more energy-efficient in the home can be a fun family effort,” said Andres Reyes, director of Hispanic marketing at First Choice Power. “The live semi-final event is an exciting way for not only the contestants but the audience to learn about energy and conservation, all while having the chance to win some great prizes.”
Contestants reached the semi-finals by signing up for the Energy Bee at www.FirstChoicePower.com. They received text messages with energy trivia questions. The families that answered the most questions correctly are competing in Friday’s semi-finals event.
Those interested in attending can stop by First Choice Power’s local office in Lewisville from at 1081 W Main Street, Suite 100, just across the street from Lewisville High School. The contest will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
