First Choice Power Cleans Up Business 121

(Lewisville, TX) First Choice Power employees spent an afternoon cleaning 300 pounds of trash along Highway 121 Business as part of a new membership of Keep Lewisville Beautiful. 

On August 21, 2009, a hot August afternoon, 30 First Choice Power employees spent 2 hours cleaning up 300 pounds of litter and two tires off of Highway Business 121.  Trash of various origins was collected. Among the litter removed there was two tires, a shopping cart, drug paraphernalia, a Garbage pail kid card, lottery tickets, hundreds of cigarette butts, and even some bullet encasements. All of the trash was properly disposed of thanks to Waste Management and some was even recycled thanks to Firestone on Highway Business 121! 

“Keep Lewisville Beautiful is impressed with the work that First Choice Power employees did. The 300 pounds of trash was collected on a hot summer day in just 2 hours! We hope that the generosity and hard work of First Choice Power will inspire other groups to gather and clean in Lewisville and throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area.” Coralee Lennert said.
