First Choice Power Names Chris Smith Director of Indirect Sales
IRVING, TEXAS – First Choice Power today announced that Chris Smith has joined the company as its new director of indirect sales. Smith comes to First Choice Power with 20 years experience in customer satisfaction and a decade of experience in the Texas energy industry.
“We are thrilled to be adding such a valued member of the energy industry to our team,” said Jeff Schiefelbein, vice president of sales for First Choice Power. “With Chris’s expertise, he will be a great asset to First Choice Power’s rapidly growing commercial sales.”
Smith has served in various sales and management roles in the Texas retail electric market, including time with Hudson Energy, Direct Energy Services and Reliant Energy.
At First Choice Power, Smith will be responsible for directing the third-party sales team and overseeing broker relationships.

A long-time Texas resident, Smith and his wife live in Plano, Texas, with their two children. When he’s not leading the indirect sales team at First Choice Power, Smith enjoys coaching youth soccer and caring for his horses.
